@Daveed: maybe it's just bad luck but seriously, everything I've gotten refurbed has been crap.

Every single refurb I've ever bought has broken. I've learned my lesson. Refurbished just means pre-broken.

@Asraiil: I'd promote that if I could.

Have we reached the point where phones have replaced cars as the prime status symbol in society?

@venc: why steve why!?

Wait, Steve said it was only software. Steve wouldn't lie to us.

Ummm... what's that camera for? On second thought, I really don't think I want anyone to answer.

Does the system solve the age old problem of your jerk friends covering their sensors so you can't shoot them?

@BeerManMike: I have an i7 and 6GB or RAM and no invite :(

nothing in my inbox. Sad panda :(

@Brian Crecente: Yeah, well, I was never keen on telling you guys what to do. I just thought it seemed like a mixed message having this post after the bannings is all. You're free to run your blog however you want.

Fist off, the "ten year lifespan" doesn't mean that a new console is ten years away it simply means the console will be supported for ten or more years. The PS2 is still being supported.

Couldn't we have had this editorial before all the bannings? I guess people should have heeded the rules but at the same time it seems like adding insult to injury by creating an outlet for suggestions immediately after banning people for making suggestions.

"Great. Not only the Germans rely on octopi to lose the World Cup, but they also may screw quantum mechanics for everyone."

Seems like this service will work fine RTS or simulation or RPG and the like. I think the problem is that the service is trying to free you from an expensive PC and most of the games you need an expensive PC to play are fast paced action games or FPS games which require minimal lag especially if you want to play them

@MacGyver1138: well wasn't it Dragon Age: Origins: Awakenings or maybe Dragon Age: Origins (subscript)Awakenings?

I'm really surprised they're not calling it Dragon Age: Something here as opposed to Dragon Age 2.

I've been a fan of Raven's games for a while so I'll probably check this one out.

That is the happiest commie policeman I've ever seen.

@Sir Gibler: some marketing genius thinks it looks cool.
