I would actually agree! My favorite instances were the donning of the outfit. There was so much attention and care put into the aesthetic of those moments and the way the camera’s gaze moves all over her body. It’s not just erotic, it’s also empowering and interesting. I’m really glad someone else is appreciative of

A major takeaway from Season 1 is that Natalie Holt is a phenomenal composer. I just loved the music and how it kept building and reinventing through the final episode.

Yeah, I took my sons to BB2 yesterday as well. I was hoping I’d at least get a chance to take a nap in the theater but everything about it was obnoxious and I just ended up doing a hate-watch. At least I used the Fandango gift card I got for Father’s Day so I saved $25.  The only upside is that Amy Sedaris got herself

Well that last part suddenly make sense when you look at how traditional the design for Garland seem compared to the protagonist’s clashing aesthetic.... and the fact the whole story might be a literal “What if FF1 was a dark fantasy... isekai?”

So these might be LITERALLY “three guys who are totally not allowed back

We could’ve had more of this.

Anyone else who grew up in the 80s with cartoons like He-Man (and Thundercats and other toy-based stuff) feel rather jealous at those, a few years younger, who got to have Spongebob Squarepants and the like? You know, _good_ cartoons? The sense I am trying to describe here is whatever the opposite of nostalgia is.

“I know writers who use subtext and they’re all cowards!”

There’s definitely room to improve at least upon Cumberbatch’s labored American accent that makes it sound like he’s still recovering from a novocaine shot.

Remember when he was on the shortlist for Dr. Strange?

I dig that Disney/Marvel are really taking these TV series and choosing to go different places with them.  This, Wandavision, and Falcon and Winter Soldier are all vastly different types of TV series and I love that. Feels far more like the chaotic nature of what comic book worlds are like and something the movies

I see Ignatiy is going straight for GENTLEMAN'S FATALITY on this movie.

The BWAMPs are not very inspiring though.

Yeah, can we skip making actual episodes, and just let new animators riff on their Simpsons ideas for 25 minutes each week? I don’t know if it’d be good, but it’d at least be interesting...

Listen, unless you’re Steve Martin or a felt frog, I probably want you to leave the banjo at home.

That is a great idea and would have been a much more interesting climax.

The Scartlet Witch look is pretty awesome. It has the iconic crown, it doesn’t sexualize her, and I like how the dress and hair emphasize a kind of witchiness.

Vision’s line about grief being the persistence of love was actually really lovely.

On the other hand, I feel like Wanda is emerging from this show as the character with the most examined and complex back story of the entire MCU.

Agreeeed - during the lead up to WhiteVision, I was internally going, “No...are they going to...?” Then boom! And so much better than the weird Cream?/Off-White Vision of the comics

Yeah, honestly this episode was mostly boring to me. It revealed very little than was surprising or meaningful (except I guess that flashback scene between Wanda and Vision).
