Batman & Robin isn’t a good movie but I at least respect the intent behind it rather than say, Batman v. Superman. Namely that it was trying to embrace the campy elements of Batman present from the Silver Age and Batman ‘66.

I loved having Piranese to read this year. It was wonderful and almost healing to be in the narrator’s head. I loved that she was able to write a character who had attained a kind of spiritual enlightenment while also maintaining his humanity.

Ocean’s 11 holds up like a motherfucker. It’s just so effortless and charming and silly.

I don’t know why this review expects the game to “say” something about diversity or trans culture or the world. It’s not an emotional indie game with a message. It’s not a personal project focused on a topic or a message.
