I’m definitely emotionally invested in her and Vision in a way I never was with the movies, that’s for certain.

My souring on Abrams is only about half my enthusiasm for Coates, so this is a net positive for me.
Yeah, Vision’s line about grief being the persistence of love was actually really lovely.
I never thought this series was going to culminate in some impenetrable, freaky head trip or anything, but the reams of reductionist exposition were definitely less than the sum of its parts.
On The Media is the best thing NPR currently has going for it, and it should be the gold standard against which all other news emulates. To bad All Things Considered is complete both sides-ism dross.
I am in awe of whatever painting technique Caldwell harnesses to make all his cheesecake models look like they smoke two packs a day.

Who would have thought unfettered capitalism would create problems?
I love the Last Jedi, and I couldn’t even get mad at Rise of Skywalker if it had been a halfway well-executed movie, I would have been furious at how aggressive it was in erasing TLJ. But it was just shuch a flop sweat-drenched, falling-down-the-stairs-with-a-stack-of-pies debacle of film making, I could only gawp.
I agree that plays a part, but given that all nerd properties struggle with such a percentage of their fandoms being nutball reactionaries, it’s a more holistic problem.
