I'm not sure why you think it is SO smooth... it's definitely not super grippy, but way more textured than some of the cheaper cases which feels as slippery as the naked phone.

On the symmetry, the back is sort of a textured plastic. The only thing I can compare it to is like overused fine grained sandpaper... not smooth where it will fall out of your hand, but not super grippy either. It's very solid plastic though- you can feel it is made well.

otterbox symmetry. Actually slim unlike the other otterbox cases- with the case on it is about as thick as a naked iPhone 5. There is a textured back which makes the phone easier to grip.

What about 128gb? While 64gb is probably enough considering there is icloud drive, if you take a lot of photos and especially videos and don't have an unlimited data plan, 128gb seems appealing. Also with the new A8 chip, games will be getting bigger and bigger.
