Were you trying to set a world record for most strawmen and false equivalences in a single sentence?

It's pretty clear to me that Ditka vastly overestimated his chances in that election. I mean, for "Senator Ditka" to even be a possibility, Illinois state politics would have to be such a corrupt, inefficient mess, it'd be laughingstock of the entire country.

I don't use the word "hero" very often, but Alex Rodriguez is the greatest hero in American history.

I hope Selig gets absolutely hammered in this lawsuit. His stain on baseball is greater than anything AROD could have ever done, and he cemented it with the way he botched, bungled and illegally handled this investigation all to try and frame himself as a savior, instead of the slug that he actually is.

FYI... I'm the one who took the picture at the Predators-Panthers game. Since everyone is asking — why a doubleheader with a 2 p.m. game? Because its cost-effective for the Nashville and Florida scouts (who are here in droves) to scout players. One scout told me both teams like this setup, that it gives them an

Behold! A slap on the wrist in all of its glory!

I've never understood these kind of suspensions for starting pitchers. How can it not be a suspension for starts?

You're just proving my point about what a scummy, "gotcha" moment they wanted because they want to pile on A-Rod like everyone else. This stunt wasn't about getting viewers, because no one reading about this stunt is tuning into the Today Show tomorrow unless they were already a loyal viewer.

I don't know. I think that's completely scummy by the Today Show. Ambushing a guest? That reeks of unprofessionalism and makes it seem like they have an agenda.

Why doesn't Matt Lauer grill politicians like this? What a joke.

Two things came immediately to mind reading this eulogy:

1) Ken Jennings' TED talk about the "obsolete know-it-all." His thesis is basically that because we have so much information at our finger tips now, knowing something has unfortunately and mistakenly become obsolete.

I'd imagine both Howie and Roger share much in
