Why would Birdie or Bridie be out? I like Birdie, would it be like awkward to call myself that?

Bree’s not bad, but it’s similar to Bee and the aforementioned Muppet problem.
Yeah! Gigi would be cool. I’m going to be on a 16 month co-op starting in May and want to figure something out before then.
But I’m not French and I also live in Canada. Don’t want to step on toes, you know?
With my last name, I’d sound like a Muppet. I was hoping to maybe use it professionally when I have a co-op in May. And I guess I mean nickname like how someone named Katherine would go by Kate. A shorter name, I guess.
How do I like unofficially change my name when I’ve been going by the same thing my entire life?
Thanks haha. Will do. :)
Hi Jezzies, I just broke up with my first long-term boyfriend of two years. We live together, but he’s going away for Father’s Day stuff for the weekend. I’m feeling like I don’t know how to feel and I’m kinda confused.
At corporate Walmart, they give you one pen and one highlighter. If you're an accountant, you're expected to purchase your own calculator.
It's been pretty good so far. All my teachers are nice, understanding and helpful. Though most of my female classmates are less likely to ask for help. It's more likely that my classmates will doubt my ability/skills. No one is too creepy, except for a few people. Most are just socially awkward, but I'm also kind of…
Oh, also, when I went on a tour of the school, they had me go into a couple of the classes. The coordinator had the students like shout out why I should take the program, but reminded them to say non-creepy reasons.
I think it stems partially from high school. There are about 70 people in this year and 8 are women. Of those women, most are older, including myself. We've already been to school and are going back for more education. Bringing women into tech needs to happen a lot earlier. I never took programming in high school,…
I'm in school for CS and in my program it's like 10%. One of the upper year levels actually has no women.
Thank you very much. And that sounds like an excellent idea. Seeing the sun set is always nice. I'd like to get some full spectrum lights. I hate Canadian winter.
I think I've tried to bring it up before, but it didn't help much. We probably just argued. Luckily, I'm in school and live in a different city so I don't see my parents much.
Maybe some Jezzies can help. I've been feeling pretty down lately, probably because of S.A.D., but I've been thinking a lot about my family. It's an upsetting topic for me.
I'm going to school for computer science/software engineering. The program chair refers to women as females. I wonder if that's why there's so few women, percentage-wise, in the program. It's like 90% men, 10% women. From my understanding, that's bad, even for CS.
Isn't Buffalo the armpit of America?
I thought a Farscape movie is going to be made.
Did anyone else read 'putting the stain on your panties'?
