“The bottom line — we’re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated coworkers,” he added.“

How do you put Bieber on the same level as Britney?! How?! I’m trying to look at this objectively, but HOW!?

That was going to be my exact comment .

Both? He was reportedly abusive to his employees. Not hard to believe he was abusive to her too. I think that last sentence is key. It’s not an excuse for her business decisions.

I just need everyone to know that my brain processed this headline as “Elizabeth Smart Accuses Ex-Boyfriend Thanos of Abuse.”

The people worried about schools opening are mostly not the same people mad about wearing masks.

The only thing shocking about this is that people are shocked by it. Carrie’s husband is pretty openly conservative and she has remained largely apolitical except for some vague LGBT support. In country music that generally means you’re trying not to kill your crossover support. Did people think she was super liberal?

THANK YOU. People think if you’re not enthusiastically promoting the vaccine you’re anti-vax.

There’s people in Congress who believe in Qanon so nothing surprises me anymore.*

That’s an extremely fast divorce for rich people isn’t it? Doesn’t that usually take years?

If she was clear that she wanted the writer to use both pronouns within that single article and they ignored that, then ya, that’s shitty. But to me “I’d like people to use both” doesn’t necessarily mean within the same conversation or writing. Maybe they figured they could write one article with “she” and another

Where does it say she prefers them equally? It just says she uses both. Which can mean a lot of things.

.

If you tell me “I’m comfortable with ‘she’ or ‘they’” that tells me I’m allowed to call you either. If you want me to alternate, that’s fine, but you have to clarify. I don’t see how they disrespected her wishes by calling her something she claims she is comfortable with. That’s not misgendering.

Her Twitter bio says “she/they” so I’m guessing it’s a typo

I get that they’re trying to reach the teens but it’s usually their parents making the decision to get them vaxed. A for effort but I’m not sure this is going to help much 🤷🏼‍♀️

Carson Daly officiating is just so fucking funny to me. He has such a “host voice” how do you not feel like you’re at work?  Did their chairs say “i want you” on them?

Her father in law runs her (former) management company, where her ex also works and was managing her. After the divorce they sued her claiming she owed them money. I don’t know if there’s a legal connection to the divorce but they may just be using that as leverage to get more money out of her in case he doesn’t get

It sounds like a made up phrase like “conscious uncoupling.” Maybe it’s just symbolic idk. Or she doesn’t want to be his emergency contact anymore.

Lily Collins is in a Polly Pocket movie directed by Lena Dunham. Sure! Fine, whatever. [Just Jared]
