For singers I can at least see how it enhances the vocal, but that seems incredibly difficult for a rapper.

I feel really weird about this and I can’t put my finger on why. I guess because they just had a baby. I’m not necessarily against surrogacy but it feels more understandable when it’s your first kid after years of trying and not your fourth.

Inappropriate behavior aside, it’s insane that she’s kept up this same bit for so long. Most longtime YouTubers have evolved from the original content they got famous for. She has one joke and she’s been telling it for almost 15 years.

Maybe her mom was kind of “a pill”

I’d actually have more respect for him if he got knocked out. If you’re going to lose, do it in a way that sounds more badass.

Are these the people trafficking and harvesting the blood of children that the right is always yelling about?

More effective as in more ad revenue for Rolling Stone, sure. People won’t read beyond the headline and immediately jump to “kelly’s the new ellen” even when the article makes clear that’s not the case.

We obviously don’t know either of these people personally, but I do think public reputation counts for something. I’ve heard far more negative stories about Ellen than Kelly. That doesn’t prove anything with certainty, but character witnesses have some value here.

Aside from being forced to take other jobs as babysitters, dog walkers, and Uber Eats drivers to pay their bills, employees were also reportedly subjected to verbal abuse and a culture of fear and intimidation.

The article went out of the way multiple times to say that none of the employees complained about Kelly herself, which I think speaks volumes. Unfortunately for her, people don’t read past the headline.

They’ve done segments on BLM and anti-semitism. Depending on how it’s approached I could see it.

It’s not really. Not like it was at peak Ellen times at least. Because social media is leaning more algorithmic based, stuff really only tends to go viral within smaller communities. I see far more Kellyoke videos come across my feed than Drew and it’s probably because of who I follow and what else I watch.

This is funny if you’re familiar with his Gilmore Girls character.

This wouldn’t be an issue if they just ended the show when they had the perfect opportunity last season.

I didn’t listen to the interview so maybe there’s more context, but from that quote, it just sounds like she approached it the wrong way. “borderline unprofessional.” Changing lines without talking to the script supervisor first. It doesn’t sound like she approached them like “hey, i was reading through the script and

this is what’s stopping me. it sounds great for my ADHD, but then i remember i have to clean all the shit i have laying around on the floor for it to be useful. at that point I may as well just do it all at once manually.

I must be missing the instinct to care about “saving humanity” or whatever. Humans aren’t going to exist forever regardless of what we do or don’t do. (Sorry for triggering your question existential crisis). I only have the bandwidth to care about people that will be here for the next 100 years or so. If humans die

I think they’ve been trying to appeal to a younger audience. Miley was on like 6 years ago.

Two years ago. Someone did not do their research.

Not the point of the post, but Ariana hasn’t been a coach on The Voice in two years. This is very easy information to find.
