Its a "Youngtimer race" where the cars have to be at least 15 years old. And yes, most of us race in these youngtimers because they're cheap ;) (Im the guy who filmed this)

Audi and BMW have Racing History?

Considering the cops would have never caught the guy or even bothered to send a car out to chase the truck. Yeah i would say they did the right thing, and considering its Texas, the thieves were lucky to not get shot when the truck got stopped.

About the only thing from a Veloster left of that car is the chassis. That has in the range of about 550-600 hp, a sequential transmission and AWD. This is a Global Rallycross car, they go all out.

I didn't know cars could suddenly and without warning just go sideways.

Lavin's commenting on the AZCentral article now - according to him, no, it wasn't insured, so no insurance company has a claim to it.

They change to coils for adjustability so they can set it up differently for different tracks. Most private owners won't ever use the adjustability.

Man, would this be useful. I can finally move my trashtalking from xbox live matches to soccermoms merging in front of me too slow!

I'm not arguing that the car shouldn't have been on that bridge, but the cyclist seemingly made no attempt to move over or slow down, and almost looks to have hit the car on purpose. I know a few cyclists that wear helmet cams like this, and the majority are colossal douches. (Blow through lights and stop signs, but

Not a fake... this guy is a wanker. Access to the pit lane is often necessary to move the racing cars around after being repaired, scrutineered, etc. Nobody expected a knob head to deliberately enter a live race track.

I was there... in the pitlane... and it was definitely NOT a PR stunt. It screwed the race right at the closing stages, and everyone up and down the grid is hoping these idiots are prosecuted. The police are investigating.

It's always a fscking Camry.

That's got nothing on Sanka!

Simpsons jokes are memes now?

I would love to just go around inviting stanced cars up onto the grass area just to watch this happen.

I do hope 'Isle of Man time' catches on. Macca should go there with the P1. That should do the trick.

I just don't get the no controls thing. A situation I had a few weeks ago: tree fell about 15 cars in front of me. All travel lanes blocked. Police were directing everyone across a grass shoulder to a side road. Grass was about a foot high. With a control less auto car I guess at that point you'd have to activate

If it where American police 3 kids would have been tased, pepper spray would have temporarily blinded another 5 and a total of 12 kids arrested for "disturbing the peace"
