How much heavier would they need to make this car to keep the performance/stiffness which is loss when you remove the roof.
It would be nice to see them take this dinosaur technology and update it as well as lose some of the weight they have. Don’t make it so Bulky looking compared to the old 70s body. The sides of

Unfortunately I do not.   I also live up in the Buffalo, NY area so that’s a hell of a drive.   Something I’d consider but not anytime soon unfortunately with what I have going.    Thanks for sharing this and all the funny photos.

I absolutely love these!! I am not as small as an older Miata but I feel the S2000 fits into this category. Especially when in between two semi trucks on a highway with pooling water from a downpour.  lol Puckers the butt a little.

Riiiighht.....   I mean if you wanted the actual “Hot Hatch” you get the Mini Cooper JCW.   If you want the Hot wagon, get this.   How many Hot wagons are their?  lol

But it has a full sized rear window. (Same size window as the rear doors) This makes it a wagon. The same was said about my 06 WRX Wagon. I thought it was more of a hatch but apparently since the rear glass is a full height of the door windows, it makes it a wagon.

Edit:  It’s also just a hair longer than a 2019

To me, this is a wagon. And apparently to Jalopnik as of a few years ago, it was a wagon to them too.

Is it a wagon or a hatchback? You guys haven’t decided I guess.
Personally I see a full size rear window. (Window as all as the rear doors) So to me, this is a wagon and not a hatchback.

Want to own that car in a state that requires it, get a modified bracket and install it or pay the ticket each time they pull you over.   I personally would like to be without them and did for 5 of the 9 years I’ve owned an S2000 in NY State.

Can we please shorten the video a little? It’s just that it’s...... To long to watch.

On a serious note, less people and more pit times. This is taking away all of the bit stop excitement and strategy. If every car has to pit longer, it could make things interesting.

Not me, I enjoy driving smaller and will stay smaller if possible unless I get a bigger family. (4dr 6spd GTI and S2000) Smaller cars are more enjoyable to throw around. Less weight and typically cheaper to maintain. If I needed larger, I’d look next into a newer Accord Sport 2.0T manual or something like a wagon. If

Larger cars in the States also don’t have Diesel engines like the European market.   I bet if you put a diesel in a large sedan it would still make this truck look silly.  Probably double or more the mpg with the same technology diesel.    If you are going to compare the car to the truck, you have to compare the motor

Wrong.... Apply the same tech to a small car and the fuel economy becomes far greater.    Also, small cars are dead in the states, not Europe.   We are over sized on everything because Murica!

I love that they thought of the golfer buying these. hahaha

I see so much failure happening with this suspension/speedbump situation.

Now playing

Reminds me of the S2000 regular cars review. “That’s mine, I control that, you get a vent, that’s mine, mine...”

Looks like the passenger doesn’t even get to share the center arm rest. lol

Toyota RAV4. Only weighs between 3,370 to 3,620 lbs

If you have room for weight, Honda Pilot isn’t a bad option between 4,036 to 4,319 lbs or a Toyota Tacoma between 3,980 to 4,480 lbs

Well I wouldn’t touch Cadillac for Luxury either. I’d go with Lexus, Acura, Audi, BMW, etc before touching a Cadillac. GM needs to work on reliability and materials being used in their vehicles. Also, only materialistic people wont buy the Kia. Their loss if they went with the Cadillac.

For the price.... I’m buying a Kia Stinger GT or Genesis. Reliability and warranty wise, the Kia/Genesis is the way to go as well... you’ll have more power and a sportier looking car. Kia/Hyundai/Genesis being among the stop right now of reliability out of any manufacture in the market. Then you have Cadillac who

I feel like I need more caffeine today but correct me if I’m wrong. With say a 300 mile battery, if this is only increasing your mileage by about 5%, wouldn’t this only give you 15 more miles per charge? If so, how much more money are we talking for a 2 gear transmission for only gaining that much?

Well this should be a nice lawsuit to give him a better car than the old Honda. (Nothing wrong with a Honda)
