I didn't even make it that far. I gave up when I realized they were making the cop procedural aspect of the show its main focus instead of trying to figure out his dream/not dreaming thing. I heard it just kinda stopped after a while.

I still don't get why HE had to write the encyclopedia. Normally, at least in other "world" type series', some schmuck or team of schmucks at the publishing house just compiles all of the info for the encyclopedia-type books, and they just consult the author if needed.
