Right? So Wi-Fi is a pun on High Fidelity, where the Wi was obviously chosen for be shorthand for Wireless, since wireless was already in the lingo of IEEE 802.11 WLAN (wireless local area network). So in debunking that Wi-Fi does not mean Wireless Fidelity, I think they actually just proved that it actually does.

I disagree completely with the premise here. The lore is a big part of the appeal of the original. Ray and Egon throwing around phrases like “Tobin’s Spirit Guide” and “Spates Catalog” and “free-floating full torso vapor” is both hilarious and deeply intriguing.

The December 2010 lunar eclipse had some clouds, but they were thin and wispy, and they threw the redness from the eclipse across the entire sky.  I didn’t know it was an eclipse at the time, I thought it was the end of the world until I got back inside.

In the end, it’s the parents that have the money, and decide where it’s going to be spent.  And not taking that into account is one of the biggest mistakes Disney’s made.

Look, I know I may get perma greyed for saying this. But you have to produce content that appeals to Parents. If parents don’t want their kids seeing politically charged woke content, parents aren’t going to subscribe to Disney+ or take their families to Disney movies. They need to go back to telling good stories…
