I use rice all the time.  It goes right back in the container and becomes part of another meal.  I’ve never had an issue reusing rice.

You’re missing the key on why this works.  Warm air can hold more water than cold air.  If you dry out the air with the AC before warming it up, the now heated dry air can hold a lot more water.

Anyone that wants to take away natural gas needs to try living through a blizzard with the power out.
