Shouldn’t you be busy trying to convince someone that an art history degree is worth it, while making their coffee?

Sounds like we agree.

Sounds like a completely worthless degree. Is it a requirement for a job at Starbucks?

I taught at ITT tech for one semester and then quit once I found out that it was a “buy your degree” school. I did manage to get three students to drop out of ITT and enroll in a real engineering program.

#1.  Get a degree in something that will pay for itself and don’t rely on a handout.

Yet remote work is an option. I make NYC wages and pay the midwest cost of living. No commute necessary. I never want to live or travel to these cities, but I’ll gladly take their money.

Tell me again, why on earth someone would willingly live in NYC?

diversity > quality

Not down.  It’s still way up.

like a cool winter breeze!

breathable boxers.

I wanted to like this movie a whole lot more than i did. Wasn’t that funny and a lot of the dialog seemed forced.

let me repost all the crap i found from the internet. At $0.25 per article i bet she logs $50 per week.

Why is impossible anything on here?  If it’s not better than the original, it shouldn’t be on this list.

If you’re relying on ice that you make in your house to cool you off, you’re just shifting the heat around.  You’re pulling the heat from the water and transferring it to the room with your freezer and then that heat is then re-added to the ice to melt it.  However, due to inefficiencies, you’re warming up the room

This doesn’t work as well anymore since credit cards usually charge 3% for a balance transfer. However, you can pay off your house with a HELOC, and then transfer that debt to a 0% credit card offer. When the 0% offer is about to expire, you just pay it back off with the HELOC and do it again with a new offer.

I’ve averaged under 3 years for the last twenty years, but more recently I last under two years at a job.

beat me to it.

tl; dr

This completely ignores heat transfer laws.  By lowering the temperature in your house that much, you’re creating a greater temperature difference and increasing the flow of heat back into the house.
