I was asked for mine in my first job in engineering. I also had to produce a copy of my diploma.  After that though, they just assumed that I had all of the degrees listed on my resume.  GPA is only needed for your first job out of school.

I fry and steam mine in a Ball canning lid. The thin stuff hits the hot pan first and then i let the rest of the egg in once that starts frying. Add water to hot pan, cover it with a lid and perfect doneness and shape in 3 minutes in 30 seconds.
