I just got the Moto G4 for my kid and he’s playing Pokemon Go without any issues. The phone doesn’t get hot and the GPS is fast and pinpointing him correctly.

I’m confused about the speed issue. My son and I both have Moto G3's and they run games just fine (I was in pain on my G1, but G3 run everything smoothly now). My son plays Pokemon Go on it and has no complaints.

Materials is what literally separates one android phone from another. They’re all running android with some overlay running on top of it. How else do you justify paying more than $200 or $300 bucks for one when you have 1000's of choices.
