I did an Iron Butt once. ONCE. Austin TX to Dayton OH in one shot on a BWM F650GS Dakar. 1180 miles took me 21 hours of riding with no rests besides fuel ups, though I did get pulled over in Arkansas for riding on the shoulder during some random miles-long gridlock. Oops.
