People here claiming that ‘historical movies have always been inaccurate’ are missing the point. It’s not the presence of inaccuracies, its what those inaccuracies mean and why they exist in this particular movie.

Right, because Tesla definitely doesnt have a history with pushing reservation holders into more expensive models by decontenting the base model and saying it will be a few years longer wait. Or Adjusting their MSRP upwards 20% in a years time.

If instead of giving Tesla a $50k interest free loan, you could invest that into Tesla stock and by the time your Roadster is delivered, you’ll likely have made back the total cost of the car...
