Come on now, no living actor has the range to do Cool and Rude!

Why blame him for John Carter?  It was in production before he took over.  I guess he should have eaten the millions they already poured into it and pulled the plug.

It's not so much robbing us of our memories, because a technologically enhanced ET can sell the story better.  The problem is these guys (especially Lucas) got old and dull, and now they are actually ruining the movies they made when they were young, exciting and edgy.  Making ET less "scary" or making Star Wars ever…
