No comparison, I'd give Rage an A next to DNF, but then again almost any game is an A against DNF. Make it an A+.  I enjoyed a lot of the level design on Rage as opposed to DNF, with the exception of Rage's last level.  The Jackals' level was sweet.

I thought the console controls were fine.  You had to be close to the enemy for any auto-aim to work, which was fine by me.  The reviewer should work on his aim because shotgun blasts to a mutants chest were crippling.  
The criticisms of being derivative of other well-known titles is warranted (Bethesda even slipped
