Why hire a great actress like Carrie-Anne Moss, promote the hell out of her being a star of the show and then give her character absolutely nothing to do? At least they seem to have stopped trying to force the whole Quaid/Moss pairing because that was almost as painful to watch as Quaid's performance.

Carrie-Anne Moss' character Katherine grew up next door to the Lambs' and apparently had a crush on Ralph but nothing came of it then. He is indeed a widower and that was his deceased wife/mother of his son that he was remembering hanging clothes by that god awful tree.

I said the exact same thing about wasting a talent like Carrie-Anne. Why hire and promote that big of a name and talent then reduce her character to nothing more than an uninteresting love interest. Quaid is laughable and O'Mara is just boring. The only interesting character is Michael Chiklis.
