Adventureland didn't quite work for me. Some good scenes, stellar work by Martin Starr and Bill Hader…but then, that junk-punching retard comes along and takes a Cleveland Steamer on the goodwill that had been built up. Snip that douche out, and the film is very much deserving of the accolades heaped on it.
