I think this was the strongest episode to date. Maggie is really the show's weakness now. But this episode did a good job of strengthening Donna as well as the usual suspects. Seems like the show is really finding its footing.

Despite a Mouse plot that was by far the worst thing the show has ever done, pushing Carrie, Sebastian, Dorrit, and dad into new territories is a big move for the show. They keep pushing the characters in bold new directions, and even the horrible Mouse plot still showed the character evolving and changing. I'm glad…

I like that in each episode, they seem to be throwing new obstacles at Carrie, and while some weeks work better than others, the show definitely can't be accused of moving too slowly. In a few weeks Carrie and the other main characters have already worked their…
No Larissa, GOOD. Extra Donna, BAD. I'm waiting for either of those characters to get enough time in an episode (i.e. knocked on their ass) so they're a little more fleshed out and they're given a more compelling reason for us to actually care about them. I like that Mr. Bradshaw got his own storyline today and got…
Big step up from last week, mostly because Larissa was kept on the sidelines. Also a wise choice to split up the group of friends for an extended period of time (including separating Sebastian and Carrie rather than a long, forced, awkward pairing).
I think as this show develops and behind the scenes the direction firms up, I think the show can evolve into a My So Called Life-light instead of Sex and the City-light. The stuff that works best is the non-New York stuff, which feels like the most important aspects in setting up THIS Carrie as THAT Carrie. But as…
Keep reviewing this please! Let's get this out of "OTHER SHOWS" for good!
