This implies that Shia LaBeouf is not a vampire.

Yeah, early on it was less believable, but when confronted Shane basically admitted it.
That's my main worry - that they'll play down the violence (…and play up the romance, which would ruin it).
Yeah, it feels really weird how much/annoyingly they're promoting the movie… But as long as the movie is good, I'll be happy.
Same basic concept, or so I hear. Haven't read it myself. Detractors like to claim Battle Royale is "so much better", but I quite enjoyed The Hunger Games
@avclub-5470317571e6488699c5096861915107:disqus I actually agree that I liked The Hunger Games more, but Book 7 of HP was one of the few I liked, because they stopped dicking around at school and finally got around to actually saving the world.
Agreed. Harry Potter really wasn't *that* well-written… The heroes are idiots, even/especially for school kids. Half the time they're saved by deus ex machina.
The thing about the descriptions of fashion and such… In the story, the fashion is "strategic" - Katniss wants to impress the rich sponsors of the Capital. She isn't doing it to look pretty… It feels very detached/artificial (and she mentions the artificiality of it all herself).
The funniest thing on CBS is The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. And it is phenomenal.
Louis CK isn't particularly attractive, but he's hilarious.
Wait, what? Damn him. Damn him to hell.
Well, it kinda reflects real life. Vice presidents mostly don't do much.
Wait, that was him? He was awesome. …Well, the talk shows on the radio in general were awesome.
Having not watched most of the first 5 seasons (other than random out-of-order episodes) but watching the following seasons regularly after then, I'll miss the show. It did get a bit worse over time, but House himself was always fun to watch.
Jesse Spencer. (…I had to look it up. But then I don't know/remember Taub's or Cameron's actors either.)
Same. He was the least hate-able on Louie. The rest of the time he's been terrible.
Honestly, though. Why are all the child-molesting priests molesting mostly boys?
If only I'd learned this before I watched Alias. (…Well, it *started* alright.)
Smart man.
I think Joss specifically decided not to kill Andrew - because he probably "deserves" it more than the other characters, but that's not how life works.
