    I'm betting on it really pronounced "Who" What it means in Gallifrean, we'll never know. But it's a great joke, because people call him by his real name all the time.

    It was created for children in 1963 - and in less than three years they dropped that aim. It's been a hybrid ever since.

    And why aren't children's stories high art? What is high art, Tom Clancy? More effort was put into this show than is put into any season of CSI:cityname.

    Tennant: last episode in the diner, having a meal with Donna's dad, talking about death. Very understated.

    Because it's the difference between SF and fantasy. SF has explanations. Fantasy doesn't. SF is hard work.
