Agreed. For my part, you could scrap the whole Anna storyline (she basically does everything exactly wrong, and I've known enough petulantly self-destructive women that I don't care to read about them) but I loved the Levin storyline because he's a character that actually develops.

I think there's a place for CGI is wuxia. Steven Chow makes a darn strong case for it. We go from obvious wires to CGI (Chi-Generated-Image!). Seems a natural to me when it's done well. This will be a watch for me.
