Given Tyrion is A) monstrous where Jamie and Cersei are perfect Lannister spawn and B) the reason Joanna died, it feels to me much more like this is Tywin's way of expressing his shame/disgust over A and anger over B. "You're no son of mine!" and all. Also Tywin's an asshole.

I don't think Myrcella was ever in on any schemes. Someone will correct me if I'm misremembering, but I thought that was the point - she liked Trystane, he liked her, she was actually innocent, but she still got murdered because she's a Lannister.

Only counter I have to that is Tywin DID love his wife, and Tyrion - while not Tywin's son - is definitely HER son. Maybe he just couldn't bring himself to do it or have it done by someone else.

I'd guess morphine would have helped with just the pain of the burns, but the debridement added enough additional pain that the morphine *felt* like it did nothing.

Careful, you might also now have to explain D&D, Twitch, streaming in general, but probably not Youtube.
