Pets and mounts! …sometimes I resist until there's a sale. And I'm always kind of happy if they release something hideous, as I don't feel compelled to buy that (says the person with a sparklepony).

There's always a certain amount of nostalgia for the old zones (and maaaaan as someone who mains a night elf who was my first ever character, going back through Darkshore in Cata was several shades of devastating), but I also don't miss the eons long run required back in the day to get pretty much anywhere.

In fairness, a lot of the streamlining is also to help existing players get their next alt to max level without taking months to do so.

I just really like crinkle fries. And yeah… the rest of the menu is pretty great. I'm also a big fan of their onion rings.

Ah, I only recently heard about the profession thing and I agree that's crap and is going to backfire. Blizz will see a LOT of people hard-stopping on professions that are gated like that, dropping the profession entirely for one that doesn't have that gating, or (at least according to one of the forum threads)…

There's a lot to be said about how the community of players in the game can be pretty awful, and while they make incremental changes to help with that, they're going about it the wrong way (imo).

Worgen is the only male character I've ever rolled, simply because I couldn't stand the anatomically incorrect female worgen grimace.

My hunter is only an alt for me, but I'm considering switching to Marks. I just… feel like there's not a lot to DO as Beast Mastery. I'm always waiting for something to proc or come off cooldown or hitting the boring shot that feels like an auto-attack.

In my experience, it's that the pet-pull snafus continue, along with breaking crowd control or trolling the raid by pulling the boss and THEN feigning death to get out of the wipe.

Every now and then, they do blast kpop and sometimes music videos. There also is apparently a pretty strong demand for other South Korean popular media - dramas and such - that gets smuggled through on USB drives.

The material components for time travel spells are probably pretty expensive, too.
