The problem with Wishes is that they're very Monkey's Paw-esque. 105 (extra?) years of life for your buddy in a D&D setting as a human? IF he avoids a violent death, the Wish doesn't prevent disease or the complications of aging, so that's basically Wishing your buddy decades of agony while he ages past mortal limits…

My cats had to go live with my mom for a stretch once. When I went home to visit, my mom didn't believe that one of them was mad at me. My mom's tiny cat would do that with rolled up socks. She would carry them around in her mouth and cry and then pile them on mom's bed.
