If you wanted to play anything other than human, you had to come up with reasoning and backstory and convince the DM.

Seems appropriate. He can't get too close to the Wall but can't leave them too far from it or they'll never actually get there. If he left them at the tree, rangers might find them pretty quick.

I could see Jon actually stepping aside for Sansa. I'm not sure his honor would allow him to do anything else.

Iirc, he overhears Robert say it. I thought there was specific mention that Joffrey thought it would make his "father" proud somehow. I may be hallucinating that, I should have gone to bed two hours ago.

Ned's in a far better place to say what his own sister looked like as a little girl than we are. I'll take his word for it over the idea that kids calling her "horseface" were just being honest or something.

I've posted this elsewhere in the thread, but it keeps coming up, so. Pet theory: Sam finds something in Oldtown to prove at the very least that R+L were married, possibly also Jon's birth - or mention that Lyanna was pregnant. Sam can do the math.

Pet theory: I think Sam will stumble across something in Oldtown confirming the marriage. Whether it's a document or one of those nursemaids.

There's also Robb's letter floating around somewhere, right?

Rhaegar doesn't seem to have been all that opposed to risky gambits, given his "kidnapping" of Lyanna Stark started a war.

I still think that's ultimately Sam's purpose in Oldtown - to stumble across papers legalizing the marriage of R+L and therefore legitimizing Jon.

AD&D as we played it did.

Same, though for different reasons. I decided to try the concession stand coffee, so I saw that movie while in pain (scalded my tongue 5min in, that shit was molten lava) and uncaffeinated.

Right and right. With a THAC0 of 12, you'd need to roll a 17 or higher to hit someone with a -5 AC.

Thac0 or bust!

I have theories.
1. He knows something's up but just thinks she's 'mentally ill.' Burning the trailer could be him trying to protect her by getting rid of evidence.
2. He's a weird cultist and knows she's actually possessed.
3. The demon moves back and forth between them. It was in her during the dinner (thus the dog's

I'm struggling to resist the impulse to find the comics and start reading.
And also sad that this show isn't getting much love here. Really unfortunate, given how well done it is. Not enough tits and/or dragons, I guess.

I thought the dog was clearly going for the friend's wife… for whom they bought garden burgers but she's decided to start eating meat again.

It also has a forcefield. The alien, not the gun. Though the gun is inside of the forcefield, of course.

Attack on Titan had the right idea! Wall off everything in sections!

HSS was so invested in the romance in this movie that he left his wife of 30 years for the lead actress.
