Rapsody is good.
Rapsody is good.
I really like ‘Spider-Man 2' - for a while it was my favourite superhero film - but I still agree with you. I think Raimi winks at the audience to much, and with the exception of Doc Ock I think he struggles to know what to with his villains. Green Goblin’s plan was to ... blow shit up in New York? Sandman just wants…
Stop motion time demons are extremely my shit. Somebody call the Legends. And the absolute audacity to drop in a 4:3 clip of the Shield pilot. This episode was the fun Kerry was pining for at the start.
I hope eventually this means somebody will pick up Saga for an animated series.
I’m here for your Billie Eillish descriptor.
I really disliked Climax, it’s a miserable movie about shitty people and I don’t think it had anything interesting to say in the slightest.
See, I liked Us, and I was really happy to see Ignatiy Vishnevetsky describe it as “fundamentally irrational”. There’s nothing wrong with a horror movie that operates on nightmare logic, but it’s hard to make any political points when your setup is blatantly impossible. The personal horror worked great, though.
Finally, a film that asks the question, “If I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?”
I’ve been very uninterested in seeing another “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.” I realize they’re modernizing it and giving it a new twist but still...that story has been told enough.
You know what would be interesting, if they showed us a version of Technical Boy from the past it was him as he was in the book. That would be cool.
keanu reeves is in reality the person that johnny depp thinks he is.
It’s not ‘new’ new but man I’ve been listening the hell out of this song for the past week:
Does Elton have to think about his whole life before he plays, too?
I had a feeling Aziz Ansari would have a good response to this situation. He’s a talented enough comedian that he can talk about these things and still be funny without being defensive or hostile. I still agree with Jessica Valenti when she said this was the most important story to come out of the #metoo movement.…
This dude should change his name to ‘Aziz I’msorry,’ amirite?
Mac Miller deserved the win dammit
Ehh, that scene where the guy fell and clipped the railing made it more of a comedy than anything else.
Like you, I think Jon Bernthal is as close to perfect casting as you can get. I absolutely effing love hearing him grunt as he runs, roar when he goes full on Punisher. I really liked this season, and am sorry to assume this is the last we will see. The final ending did seem to negate a bit about who he kills, but…
The juxtaposition made me chuckle. Very odd choice.
