My favorite is from 30 Rock - Liz Lemon’s dad, Dick, saying regarding a family gathering, “You can’t have a ‘Lemon Party’ with old Dick!” The Lemon Party joke was so obscure, referred to something so disgusting, fucking subversive and hilarious. I remember jumping out of my chair and running around scream-laughing.

One of my all time favs goes, unsurprisingly, to The Simpsons:
“Come on Homer, you enjoy Japanese culture. You liked Rashomon.”
“That’s not the way I remember it.”

It’s not complicated—you can explain the joke in about five seconds to someone who hasn’t seen the movie—but if you have, it’s just instantly hilarious.

SNL has been mostly terrible since the ‘70s. Or at least that’s what people have said in the ‘80s, ‘90s, ‘00s, and ‘10s....

What a sackless show. The right thing to do here is to take Norm to task for the shitty things he said. But Fallon is incapable of an interview that involves something other playing air guitar, tousling hair and giggling.

This article is spot on. As I read this, I felt myself reliving those intense emotions and terrifying firefights. I loved this game. It’s not as good as Metro 2033, but it’s hard to top that one.
