Oh well in that case, never mind!
Oh well in that case, never mind!
Does Dark World feature a scene with a guy crying at Hiroshima because he gave humans the technology for nukes? Nope? Eternals worst.
Thanos not being in the top ten is a...choice. Brolin as Thanos, and the character’s impact on all characters and the universe itself is undeniable: especially in Infinity War - my personal favorite MCU film. And let’s be honest: most of what we’ve seen post-Thanos has been diminishing returns.
Game of Pricks is genius distilled in 1:33.
VERY good point about Mandos working best when contrasted against non-Mando characters. We’ve now got too many scenes of increasingly muddled factions of the same self-serious warrior types debating whether to retake a home world the audience knows little to nothing about, and has no reason to root for the characters…
Hopefully there’s a scene of a Gen-Z officer being asked to the print images and they go: “what’s a ‘printer’?”
Excuse me, but “Bigfoot” is not the preferred nomenclature. This is snow we’re talking about, so it is clearly a Sasquatch killer.
As much as I do enjoy watching Din and Grogu: the fact that they, and the Mandalorians in general have no appearances or impact on the later Star Wars story lines is somewhat concerning in a continuity sense. How do the writers plan to deal with none of them appearing or even being referenced in the sequel movies? I…
Safe and forgettable is better than bad and memorable, at least from a financial standpoint. But as a fan, I want to see something which leaves an impression...and which is hopefully also good.
Those were so very frustrating. Hey, make sure you shoot all of the pink smoke ghost zombie animals or whatever is bum-rushing you from all angles in your hallucinogenic trip before getting back to the actual game.
Very good point. Not to mention *SPOILER* Vaas’ return is hinted at in a post-credits scene at the end of Far Cry 6, so perhaps we’ll get a Vaas-centric game.
It is horrifying and sickening insofar as this poor woman was robbed of a full, conscious life for 64 years by the whims of an impatient and ignorant father. While she may have been blissfully unaware of her condition, that doesn’t make the situation any less horrifying and sickening to us who are aware of what…
Kind of a cameo role, though. More Dance the better.
There are fewer stories from modern medicine as nauseating as the rise and acceptance of the lobotomy as a first line treatment for...anything, really. The fact that Rosemary Kennedy lived for 64 YEARS in that condition is absolutely horrifying and sickening.
Wait...you’re telling me it’s been “reach out and touch *faith*” this whole time? Not “reach out and touch me” on “Personal Jesus”? Paging Mandela for his effect.
I knew there was one I was forgetting. Good point!
It is BECAUSE of Maine’s inherent blandness that King was forced to create universes where all manner of fantastical and horrifying events are constantly taking place.
Never heard of The Patient but I like the premise! Analyze This/In Treatment meets Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal? The elevator pitch works on me! Will watch.
This last season of Ozark was not good: they’d clearly run out of ideas and didn’t know how to effectively end the series. It’s nomination here was definitely for the series as a whole, which did have some great episodes and awesome characters. I still think Ozark was essentially a more popular version of Bloodline, a…
Did we though?
