I was wondering that too. Was it their teachers? Other chaperone parents? If I was chaperoning a field trip and some person - famous or otherwise - started directing me to allow them to take photos of other people’s children without the parent’s consent, that would send my “bad idea” radar off the charts. For example,

Hey, your grandma has good advice.

Breaking News: 35% think KFC’s Colonel Sanders is a high ranking member of the U.S. military.

Hillary as Gollum is really the only sensible route. Trump is more like a Balrog, representative of the scourge of fire and demon of terror that is budding American right-wing populism.

Joke’s on them. Deadspin triumphs.

“This is an IT fix. Stop replying.”

I completely agree with you on the insider/outsider dynamic; this cycle people are hungry for anti-establishment candidates to such a large degree that legislative experience is viewed as a negative!

Hit the wrong reply, meant to reply to benjaminallover. Fuck it, it’s here now. Apologies to everyone for degreying someone who “can live with” a fascist scumbag.

To be fair though, Fallon never pretended to want to be politically involved, He came from SNL and wanted to do comedy. Whereas Colbert is trying to continue the work he was doing on Comedy Central, only without the Colbert Report character.

Cheers to Colbert for having him on his show. I’m happy to see Colbert staying as politically/culturally relevant as he can instead of turning into a mindless host who cares only about celebrities and viral moments (looking at you, Fallon).

“You know, the police have killed 26 people just in 2016...”

Holy fuck guys.
