cast iron pan. not sure if it's the 9 or the 12 inch I prefer more. probably the big'un. you can cook anything in it and cook it in anything. i've had mine on just about every heating appliance I own (stove, oven, grill, etc) and it makes a mean seared steak with bonus deglazed deliciousness.
