You do know (you obviously don’t because you wouldn’t have said it) that we are trained in hundreds of types of scenarios. We also have additional training throughout the year to keep up to date on tactics, case law, and train for situations that other departments have experienced so that we can be better prepared.

That’s also a really good point. In the article they say the pain is akin to a bee sting, which I hope is intentional understatement. A bee sting hurts, but it definitely isn’t “cease and desist” level of hurt.
