The controversy over this really cracks me up. What a sick society we live in where criminals get caught red handed and they get to plead "not guilty" and we have to go through a trial and they can then get off on mistrial technicalities.

Two extra tips regarding this list:

Justin Beiber Concert.

Whether you need to edit code, take or make quick notes, or you prefer a bare-bones, distraction-free writing tool,

You do not ditch Winamp.
Nobody ditches Winamp.
Winamp will ditch you at its own convenience.
Check your installed programs
and you will see that Winamp is back in there.
And it will stay there until such time
that it decides to leave.

And with some ultra mega hyper custom skins it's just THE player.

Aimp was pretty close to making it into the top five. I think it's just not super well known compared to the others, which is a shame because it rocks.

As much as I tried to like MusicBee and MediaMonkey, it's just not happening for me. I'm a devout lover of foobar2000 and I just can't beat it. Clementine is my go-to music player when I'm booting anything other than Windows (though I have no complaints about using Rhythmbox in a Linux-based OS). And if I'm crunched

Winamp used to be my fav but it got too bloated and I switched to Aimp3. Similar but lightweight.

Slightly off-topic: How many games does everyone have on Steam? I'm just curious. I've got 160, and if I didn't have the Library filters I would have gone insane a while ago... Too many Humble Bundles...

@y0himba: Why is it amazing? A vote like this is more about "most popular" than "best", and GoDaddy pretty much has the largest market share.
