@Mike Reese: Windows Sidebar with Multimeter by SFKilla, GPU Observer by Orbmu2k, Pro Weather, Doppler Radloop, Weather Radar Gadget, Windows Slideshow gadget, Now Playing gadget and Woot gadget.

I have 3,560 wallpapers (one nude of Milla Jovovich) in a directory and use the built in Windows slideshow to randomly rotate them every 5 minutes.

@gilligan156: I agree. When I can tether to my laptop during a football game out here in the middle of nowhere and stream video to the web, I am happy.

@Cory Reed: Sorry, but I can switch right here in the US and do so frequently. Also, after calling Verizon I was able to get an unlock code allowing me to use other SIM cards, even here in the US. I can use an AT&T card in it and have done so.

@kingoftowns: I know. Verizon even stated that there has been so much demand for the iPhone that they are just going to get it out there quick without many improvements.

@Zachary Hanna: However, they are not competing. They switch automatically, using one or the other. There are a few phones from Verizon that do it.

My Verizon HTC Imagio automatically switches between CDMA and GSM via the included Verizon SIM card. I know, the photo above is awful, but it was a quick snap at work just now...

the @Lifehacker link in the article points to

iPhone to Verizon on Feb 10th, Verizon coverage here to die in March.

@TheCrudMan: My HTC Imagio is a "Global Phone" using both CDMA and GSM with a sim card.

@dalton1284: The incoming call goes to voicemail. The incoming text is still received, at least that is how it is on my Verizon HTC Imagio.

Already tethering for free with unlimited data on Verizon here with my Windows Mobile phone. The iPhone is a buzzword trendy device, period.

I have an HTC Imagio running WinMo 6.5, NRG Custom ROM, Cookie's Home Tab.

I have used this for years and am glad to see Notepad++ get the recognition it deserves. This work especially well on my Netbook.

VOTE: Notepad++

Trillian has more features and is more convenient on iPhone, Blackberry and Android. Trillian can also be used from a web browser on devices. (Not to mention I am a Trillian fanboy) so of course my vote goes to Trillian.

@AvantGuard: You should move the XD|S to the top instead ;)
