I never played the first Storm game as I don't have a PS3. I did look up videos of the free roam and I agree that it looked boring and meaningless. The camera angle wasn't that great either for the free roam. I'm just comparing all of this to The Broken Bond which I thought made traversing the environments very fun.

Yup I definitely do. I liked how the story from the Broken Bond picked up exactly where Rise of Ninja left off and it was like I was playing through the anime. It was very engrossing and the open world was incredibly detailed.

I remember playing Camelot's Mario Tennis and Mario Golf for GBA. They were so amazing!!! It's proof that any genre can ave some small RPG elements and it will make it so much more fun.
