I love the new Stinger, but this is America...Americans aren’t going to buy $45-$50k Kias in large numbers I don’t care how good they are. Resale will be unbelievably bad because...same. The Koreans have come a long way, but it’s going to a LONG time before they are considered a premium marque in America.

I would actually take the Kia.  My car needs to look like it didn’t come out of Hertz’s rental fleet.  Had Chevrolet made the SS aesthetically pleasing (heck, even if it just looked like the current-gen Impala), it would still be selling.

In this labor market, they can probably find better.  They’re paying $14-$15/hr. here in Texas for menial jobs now.  In Texas, that’s not abject poverty.

I can dig a car like this in Monaco, where nobody can get up to 40 mph. I would never want to be in this on a highway, lol.
