Of all of the bizarre political twists and turns this country has taken, the strangest one is this: the fetishizing, and elevating, of symbolic gestures, while actual words and actions have become almost irrelevant.

I heard that by not standing he is disrespecting puppies and Craig Sager’s fight with cancer. I heard that. Goddammit why am I so fucking angry all the time.

I can’t relate to “what if this happened to me?” I can only relate via my relationship with women. I have never been sexually or physically victimized and have little chance of it ever happening to me. So I’m trying to sympathize as best I can.

I can’t think of a big enough punishment for this kind of crime. I am a son, brother, husband, and father to the women and girls in my life. I can't even imagine one of them having to go through something so heinous.
