Remember: this is the app that lost people’s data last year and told them tough shit. Cancer patients, women in infertility treatment, regular trackers.

Not Clue. They wiped out a lot of people’s data last year then told their users to suck it. There was no warning. It was just gone.
You’re incorrect, ill-informed, and apparently never watched the news. It was a fairly common thing to hear about. Particularly young men. A lot of those reports are issued on local news channels which go begins paywalls or are simply removed offline on a regular basis. So they’re harder to track in wider numbers…
What happens is this: you go to the hospital and they’ll stitch you up. Then they give you a prescription which you can’t afford for meds to stop infection. Then you go home and potentially die. Lots of people died because of bad teeth. Young people with infected teeth. The hospital *might* pull the tooth, but then…
I’ve had to resort to being passive-aggressive with roommates. Often they’ll refuse to talk, straight up deny the bad behavior, or start screaming bloody murder. In those last cases, it’s like they were purposefully trying to get me to say something so they could have a tantrum.
I personally added a 1k pages of the EPA site to the Internet Archive. I’ve got a few hundred MBs of downloaded files on my computer which I don’t know what to do with yet.
My dad wears a uniform of jeans and a t-shirt. He only wears something else if it’s a funeral. He’ll add a flannel coat over it in winter. But that’s it.
Mine keeps trying to follow my company’s social media accounts so she can leave comments about me on them. Blocked.
I interviewed for a job in Utah. The CEO told me that as a non-Mormon I’d likely have no social life.
I carefully washed mine and kept them. Ugly to look at, but feel amazing.
I have a friend who met his wife at the March for Sanity, so it was totally worth it.
Yeah, the carrier gets a seatbelt through the top handle and around the box. I’d let my one cat out to sit under the backseat. But only in hours’ worth of lonely driving during fine, daylight weather. When I called him, he went immediately into the carrier. I feel alright with that. If I saw any other cars, he’d go in.
The biggest challenge is that it’s been a year since I’ve returned home and yet I still have panicked moments wondering which side to drive on. After having driven on the left, it *feels* instinctively better. Safer. I can’t quite articulate why. The first day was bonkers, but after that, I loved it.
What are some interesting jobs you can do with a MBA?
I’d like help figuring out why Word has trouble with a 100k document. No pics, just text. I can’t even highlight paragraphs now to do bulk formatting changes because it freezes up. I have 16 GB of RAM and nothing helps.
Is there such a thing as sunglasses which don’t change the color of the world? I don’t like things going dark or shifting colors.
I don’t like the bit where you here to live in the state for a number of years. If there’s no job there, you’ll kill your career working something potentially unrelated just so you can avoid student loans. Then when your time is up, others may be 3-5 years ahead of you.
I make $5k/mth before stuff is taken out. My take home is $3k. My rent for a eh apartment is half that (cheapest place within an hour of my job). So I have only $18k to cover everything BUT rent. I try to save $1k/mth (which is my priority to not die dirt poor) leaving me at $6k/yr for food, utilities, gas, and basic…
I want to live in Europe for awhile. My field isn’t particularly rare or needed (though professional), so I’ d likely need to find work there doing something else. I can also build websites and do graphic design. Any tips on where to start?
Was that below $100 in the last five years? It’s always been $70 min. one way when I look.
