Just be patient. In 10 years, you can buy one for the price of a Camry. That is how I got a 911. :-)

nor a fan of the 911's body style
My co-workers would not appreciate it if I tried this.
You and I learned the same lessons. Fortunately for me I learned the PMI cost before I purchased and waited. But I’ve done the stupid 30 year things too. Never again.
You don’t need mortgage insurance if you put down 20%, and that should be a goal to do before buying a house. 2007-2009 should have taught us not to owe over 80% on the house. That is one way so many people had a short sale to get out from under it.
I’d be skeptical of doing that. This is phase 1. Phase 2 could be just as good, or not, and affect performance/mileage. I would hope not, but I’m not sure I’d buy a car with a question mark out there like that.
Full disclosure - we just sold our 2013 TDi back. I doubt those gen 1 engines will ever get a fix.
Same here, except I scan all of it into Evernote and tag it “TAX” and “RECEIPTS” and then add the year to it. Then as I move through them, I add “COMPLETED” to it until they are all tagged as such. Spending 5-10min/mo through out the year doing this is much better for me than the mad year end scramble.
God, the more and more I read up on fitness and diet, the more I become convinced there is almost no chance of doing this correctly on my own, that I need at the very least a personal dietitian to plan or advice on my meals.
Yup. It was recommissioned as an ambulance and crashed while on duty. Clearly Stringfellow Hawk wasn’t at the controls.
didn’t even have to read the byline to know who wrote this. :-)
Yup. We have one here. You just have to be aware that your contributions can be ROTH, but employee match go in as Traditional, so if you leave and roll to an IRA, you’ll actually roll to 2 IRAs, a ROTH and Traditional.
This is one reason why there is such a move to index funds and index ETFs.
here we go bemoaning the growth of MINI again.
I see the People Sweepers, known as “rear fenders” on other cars, are not changed much.
Ok, so if I need to set it when I leave a building area that I will be walking around in a lot, like work, I need to set it before I enter the building to ensure GPS is working. I’ll try that later today. Thanks for the clarification.
I thought the reason the V-6 was not a popular option is the 4cyl eco-boost was a more than adequate substitute. It was like having “better” (4) and “best” (8) and the 6 was somewhere in the middle where no one cared. There was no low end “good” like the old days where the 4cyl was mediocre.
Hmmm... I need to play with this. This seems to work on “steps taken” which makes it useless for work. It doesn’t appear to be geofencing in the app itself. It just asks me how many steps do I want to take before it pesters me.
This can be super handy. DOn’t leave restaurant without getting glasses off of table, or leave work without getting important documents printed out, etc.
Seems kind of odd that of all things to be doing, the KATU helicopter was filming that one particular spot.
And a 911 is a beetle so there you go
