Well that is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen. I have a Surface Pro 4 (rarely ever use the on screen keyboard) but didn’t notice that it removed the task bar. I’m putting on this reg hack just so I am not having a fit of frustration should I ever use it without the flip-down keyboard for some reason.

Hey, I think it is working!

Continually amazed at how far Nadella has moved Microsoft into a platform agnostic company. Their stuff for iOS are some of the best apps on the platform. Bringing one of the best IDEs in the industry to macOS is a pretty big deal.

Jerry Lee Lewis approves this comment.

I’ve only been at Betterment for about 14-16 months. It has been ok. Yeah, a single index fund would have beaten my returns, but that is this year. International returns haven’t been so hot and there are a number of international index funds Betterment (and all the robo advisors) uses that are holding returns back.

For doing this runs, are you allowed to use Launch Control? Seems cheating a bit if you are because at that point it is 100% mechanical. The driver is mostly just a passenger.

It isn’t being afraid to speak up. It just isn’t natural for many introverts to speak up in this way.

ToDoIst was my favorite task app (after using a dozen others over the last decade) and I still like it, but I am task-apped out. I feel like I manage the apps more than I work. I feel guilty with 13 past due tasks, so I spend 20min rescheduling them to something that looks reasonable, then I reschedule 10 of those

This is patently incorrect and what the shoe marketing departments would have you believe. There is a right way to swing a bat. A right way to kick a football. A right way to swing a golf club. A right way to do the breast stroke. And there is a right way to run.

I save like crazy into my 401k, and have for 2 decades. Same with my wife. We’ve downsized our house and owe no money. Still have 1 decade of saving available to us before retirement. Diversified as heck through Betterment (IRAs) and ETF funds in our 401k’s.

I cannot see anyone doing this. It is 10 degrees outside, you take off their coat, they start screaming it is cold, you put them in the cold seat, buckle them in with cold straps, then put their coat on them to keep them warm. The coat is in the floor before the back seat is closed.

10min later, you are burning up

No problem. But don’t fly. Flying is not a right. In order to fly, you must abide by the rules.

And if your phone catches fire or starts smoking while you are driving and you swerve in a bit of a panic, if you hit my family, I’ll sue you out of existence for knowingly driving with a dangerous product in the car that

Biggest thing for me was changing the way I ran.

Seriously, this guy should get time off for good driving skills because he didn’t wreck it or plow over a crowd of people, unlike some at Cars-n-Coffee events that cannot handle a Mustang at 4o mph.

Because the skip-shift in the vette was how it worked in real life. It wasn’t a trick just for emission testing.

Awesome. So like Sylvester Stallone as an aging driver pulled out of retirement in Driven.

What could go wrong?

MS had an app in their “Garage” called #SEND that was like this with Exchange/work accounts. Unfortunately, they pulled it about 2 months ago. I don’t know if they will be releasing it as a real app, integrating into Outlook, or dropping altogether.

Always a bit gun-shy of adding my work Outlook account to an outside

How about this article for a “Time Capsule” backup. That thing can hang for hours on “preparing backup” or “cleaning up”
