And that totally 100% sucks. The carriers should give the user whatever they want and charge it back to Samsung. The Note 7 is probably the most expensive phone all the carriers sell.

Well, good luck suing someone so you can use a potentially explosive device. That is also why I said give them warnings. People with the Note 7 aren’t tech noobs that have no clue about this sort of thing. They know what is going on. Take the phone back. It is faulty and potentially life threatening, and not just…
I don’t think I’ve used slide-to-unlock since I got my iPhone 6 with TouchID. I’ll be curious to see how the raise to wake feature works on my SE.
I’m pretty sure I’ve saved enough in my life by never buying extended warranties that I could buy a brand new drive train for my car.
And only once have I ever purchased a protection plan - for my son’s Macbook Pro as he headed to college, because it an get crazy there and it was insurance in my mind for stupid things…
Interesting. This explains why when I use Apple Pay for my debit card in Trader Joes as a credit, it takes 2-3 days to hit my statement, but as a debit card in Sprouts (they won’t allow a debit to be used as credit) it shows up that same evening.
This won’t be popular (more popular than phones exploding around us though) but the carriers should give users warning that in x days, Galaxy Note 7 IMEI numbers for phones known to have the bad battery will be blocked from the network and to get to a store ASAP and swap it for something else.
I am holding out hoping - hoping - that for the iPhone 8, there will be a 4" successor to the iPhone SE that will make it a first class citizen. I had an iPhone 5 and loved it. The 6 for me was pure ‘meh.’ I got an SE a few months ago and again am in love with the device. I just love the 4" form factor and those sweet…
Sadly that isn’t how many do it, including us. Things just get away from you. We just sold our house in May. It was too big for us and we kept it looking good, but not great. So we did everything @andrewDaisuke said above, and put in a new kitchen countertop (not cheap). So the new owners got to enjoy it. :-(
Glad Mario is coming to iOS, but honestly, I am more interested in Link and Zelda getting there.
Because it doesn’t sound like a sewing machine.
If I had one, I’d just have to get a different phone. No way I’d risk a fire, and you can’t just not have a phone until Samsung gets around to replacing it, even if just 2 weeks.
Maybe buy a piece of junk off of Swappa then sell it again when the replacements were available if you really like that phone.
I agree for 2+ hrs. Have you ever tried the Honey Stinger gels? 100% pure honey, or 95% for those with flavors. Whether true or not, I feel better about consuming a product that is natural and not produced in a plant. And most of those gels I just cannot handle the taste. Like sucking down grainy cake icing.
I’ll drink coconut water after a long run (anything over 90min if it is hot enough) and will either put Nuun tablets or Tailwind in my water (latter is mostly for calories) but that is about it.
I hate to see the cooler being opened at a little league game and out come the big bottles of gatorade. Might as well just…
I have stopped myself from making any impulse buys. I put it on a list and wait 30 days. If I still want it, I get it. I rarely do though.
Not a mispronunciation, but my son calles them Mercedes-Mercedes because the newer models have that Tristar duplicated up front within half an inch of each other.
So the purpose of the site is to just clean up web pages? I find it strange the bookmark feature wasn’t used much. To me, saving it for later is the main reason for these types of services. I like that Instapaper cleans up the page, but I really only want it for bookmarking to read later.
This whole credit score thing is such a scam put on by the banks. You can be a millionaire, live well below your means, and pay cash, and that doesn’t do jack to help people determine if you are a good risk or not. No, you have to borrow money from the bank in the form of a loan or credit card.
Has anyone used these? The volume buttons look really close to the “skip” function, and I’d be afraid of skipping multiple podcasts accidentally when trying to adjust the volume.

Agreed. Has the market ever lost value over a 10 year period? I am not sure that it has.
