I just compared Put.io and Fetch.io ...I'm well aware it's not 100% accurate given that Fetch.io is being hammered, but either way it's still down and that says something about the service too.
CloudApp — for Windows I use FluffyApp to quickly upload and share.
@Lexan: got enough tinfoil for your hat?
@yehoshua_ghitis: it was hammed before Lifehacker mentioned it, it was a mess last night too.
It's a mess with torrents right now, but a megaupload file worked pretty well (and quite fast) This site could be promising.
Maybe it's just me ...but I always found the concept of blogging from my iPhone (or iPad for that matter) to be a stupid idea. I would never want to type out anything of even moderate length on either device.
my point is that considering the app is usually $40, $1 is a pretty darn good "limited time" deal so I'd like to buy it now just in case sometime in the future I actually needed it.
There should be a way to buy the app from the web without needing a mac.
I'll stick with Meebo ... wow ... you consider Meebo to be bloated? Seriously?
They should add Picasa Web also (considering they already have Flickr).
the UI is pretty awful though ... I think I'll stick with The Weather instead.
or your could just install SBOrganizer ...it'll save your homescreen layout for you. If the icons get messed up for any reason just re-spring...viola.
I'll stick with Digsby thanks. It was never that difficult to shut off the ad crap, and since they've been acquired they removed all the bundling crap too. It's far better than Pidgin.
I wonder when they will get around to creating a native desktop app for the other 85% of users on Windows?
glad that Google Tasks is getting better, but I'll stick with Remember the Milk (the Gmail sidebar is amazing).
This was my idea ...no, really. This was going to be my first million.
we need a Better Gawker
That's my point. Make people just through several hoops if need be, but offer some kind of "advanced" switch that lets you do basically whatever you want to your phone. It should be disabled by default, and it should be difficult to "accidentally" enable, but they could bury some kind of advanced functionality if they…
@adjbck: I completely agree with you on just about every point.
