You should include Zenbe's "Zenpages" as well. Zenpages are basically a simple version of Google Waves that has been available for over a year. It allows collaborative page/list creation — and quite well I might add.

@VanniCaeneus: that's a pretty silly reason for a "deal breaker". You really can't take the extra 2 seconds to open the built in calendar (Windows or Mac) to find the date if you don't already know it? Yeesh.

love this app ...worked VERY closely with the developer for a few weeks to try and squash some bugs. That being said, it's still a little clumsy in terms of the UI still. It's great for those who use RTM a lot (like myself).

@Santosh Patil: same ... I was wondering what was going on also.

@fauxtrot: I've been paying for a membership at Last.FM for 2 years now — yes, I support them. My point being, *IF* I'd like to switch to Spotify instead I'd like to figure out a way to move that info with me. I haven't even decided if I'll switch for sure yet. It was more of a hypothetical.

Vote: Tweetie

Another killer feature I want — scan my list of "loved" tracks on Last.FM and add them to a playlist in Spotify. I'd probably pay $5 for a web app that did that.

2004 called, and they want their "exciting" feature back.

Yeah um, Google Reader syncing with an RSS reader is not "exclusive" by any means. Byline has had Google Reader sync since the initial release (which was the same time as NetNewsWire 1.0 — without GReader sync)

push Gmail is horribly slow — [NuevaSync.com] was much faster than this. Less than impressed.

Awesome. I see this being really handy.

@Stephen Pierzchala: the web apps work just fine in Firefox 3.5, Safari for Mac (not on Windows), and IE. No support for Chrome or Opera at this time.

@natenovs: Word is read only right now. As you mentioned, Powerpoint and Excel offer basic editing as you mentioned. Also, I'm looking forward to OneNote ...that could be awesome.

I'm testing them right now. They aren't that useful without update ability right now. They look great though, and by the way — they work perfectly in Firefox 3.5

@jkrell: what's so "unpredictable" about the push updating of the RTM app on the iPhone? I haven't had a single problem so far *knocks on wood*.

You're article is factually incorrect:

I like Postbox a lot, but I have no intention of paying for it. I've been using it since the private alpha testing phase, but it still does not offer anything special that can't be done with Thunderbird for free. Sorry guys, but it's not worth $40.

I'm not getting the previous, play, forward playback buttons on Windows 7 ... am I missing something?

Anyone outside of the US care to share the Spotify app folder? I bet some engenious hackers can get it loaded on an AT&T iPhone those of us within the US who happen to have Spotify accounts could start using this. if anyone is feeling generous and would like to help email me at xxdesmus AT google's email service.

been testing this for a few weeks now and it works great. It speeds up the entry process significantly — now I just hope they update the Gmail RTM sidebar with this functionality (if that's even possible).
