@UltimatePancakeSensation: I feel the same way. I guess we can't totally blame Valve here, as Microsoft are probably to blame as well. If new content didn't have to have a price tag added to it, then Valve could have released the updates like the PC version, instead of holding them all back for a big update that at

@SacGamer: It may not be enough but theres a lot we can do as gamers too. You know, if you encounter someone cheating in an online game, you can report them. I know a lot of people don't believe this works but such a system will never work if people don't use it.

@-Skyline-: Or Call of Duty. Though no franchise will ever have as many spin offs, sequels or games as Mario.

While the footage from the youtube vid didn't look too bad graphically (the above screenshot makes it look worse than it is), the controls really did look painful. It also didn't really seem like any fun, as the enemy's don't seem challenging whatso ever.

@Pessimipposaurus: Pretty sure they've added permanent items now. Though, i still don't see the point in buying anything.

@ttocs: Part of the problem is the DLC pricing. The strategic options DLC pack added in some new skirmish and multiplayer modes but were ridiculously over priced for 3 modes that could have probably been included with the game on release.

@KillerBee: I sort of agree. I really enjoyed Halo Wars and i still think its a good game. Its just not the sort of game i'm going to drop 800ms points on for DLC, when the DLC contains so little.

Ouch. It amazes me that such a big game for Take 2 might slip all the way back to 2010. To me this says 1 thing really and thats poor management. You really normally only need 1 development team to work on a game but it seems like Bioshock 2 has 3 teams working on it. One for the multiplayer and the other 2 for

@DigitalHero: Well just because it hasn't been done before, doesn't mean it has to be done now.

@Đipic: We don't know that yet. :p

@BlooQKazoo: It was free at one point yes (not anymore ofc). Great game and not at all complicated.

@Pornosaur: So since you require 15 other people, i'm pretty much guessing theres no system link option available (not that many games have it now adays).

@(Hollow) svenhoek: More proof that EA should just ditch using their own servers. I don't know any online EA game that doesn't have server issues.

I still don't understand why a game that takes place between Halo 2 and Halo 3, is completely void of any "Elites" and only has brutes. Seems Bungie screwed up there personally. Of course they might be in there but its doubtful as they weren't even in firefight at E3.

The sad thing is, there are some actual good games made for XNA and up there on the xbox marketplace. But instead of talking about them, kotaku focuses on the massager. Funnily enough, iPhone has a lot of silly apps but the actual games still get focus and yet the same can't ever happen with Xbox community games.

Reach is much more than a training ground for Spartans. Its the major military hub of the UNSC. Fleet of ships surround it. The spartans may be fighting on the ground but the real battle happened in space, where UNSC got totally destroyed by hundreds of superior Covenant ships.

Funny... i don't see him dropping the price on games that have been out forever from Activision. Call of Duty 4 and World at War are both selling for near enough full suggested retail. Heres a tip Activision. Cheaper software will guarantee more sales. Growing hardware install base doesn't guarantee that the new

@Shredator: You know, i think the same. Its just the Tauren cat forms have better colour schemes. Blizzard seems to be going for a purple-pinkish colour scheme with all the night elf forms, which doesn't really look all that great.

@tslothrop: Probably because for more complex games, you could you know... use a controller in combination with Natal. After all Natal isn't just a 3D sensing camera, it also has voice recognition, face recognition, as well as the body movement sensing that you'd expect it to have.

I'd prefer an actual real life camera photo of it. This looks more like some CG art work.
