Whose stomach is so weak that they can’t look at a couple of tiny blisters?

This is the most glorious/polite “fuck you” I’ve ever read :)

I know many of you Jalops are stuck in the grip of a nor’easter. We escaped to Hawaii and this road tested the grip of our rental car. Stay warm!

Some dealerships take the position that the service history is confidential. I was going to buy an A8 but even with the owners permission*, the dealer wouldn’t tell me any of the service details. Not even did a yes/no question like whether or not the timing belts had been replaced. Even if I had bought the car, they

You seem to be assuming that Ferrari repair centers would report mileages for repairs, and thus put at risk the known practice of rollbacks. Ferrari is a dirty company and business entity, and this most likely extends to authorized repair facilities as well.

They would have to change the mileage notes for all repairs and service done too, as you would get cars that had service at xxx mileage now coming back with less mileage. This is something even Carfax would spot, let alone someone who did the due diligence when buying 5 or 6 figure car.

Plenty. The histories of each early car can be found on barcetta.cc (by serial number, link below). This is well-documented by historians, including Marcel Massini, whose books, files, and opinion are sought out by everyone paying seven figures for a vintage Ferrari. Ferrarichat has many threads on this as well, with

It’s well known, a number of early Ferraris have two serial numbers because of it. It was mostly done to avoid import duties on race cars. When a racer wanted to get a new car he would take his old one back to the factory and get a new car stamped with the same serial number as the old car.

FYI, this goes back to the very start of the company. Enzo Ferrari routinely sold used race cars as “new” ones starting in the 1940's, then produced cars in the 1950's with serial numbers matching clients’ wrecked ones so they could avoid paying taxes.

Take it back to 0 every time it’s at the dealer, then if he sells it on a moments notice he doesn’t have to worry about millage.

Rolling it back to 0 is stupid and little too obvious. Why not roll it back to 268 miles? Any 2 or 3 year old car would have more than 0 miles.

i dont know why they bothered.... i mean most look like this after 50 miles

Hadn’t thought of it before for Tesla, but how does the AP behave if the balance and alignment are out of whack? Let’s say car steers to the left, does AP apply countersteer to correct that?

Uber should probably develop autonomous lawyer technology instead.

Never go full U-boat captain...

I heard there’s a boat very close of the coast, just waiting to pick it up.

Tint blind? Oh, wait, let me get my notebook here — shit, yep, there it is “Lotus289: tint blind.” Dammit, I’m sorry. I should have checked this before I made the chart. I also see here you’re due for a dental appointment. I’m a little concerned about that 1st bicuspid. I don’t want to say ‘root canal’ just yet, but I
